SlideShare is very useful for sharing slide shows. The slide show "Fab Freebies for Productivity" created by Princeton Public Library using Slideshare, includes some fascinating examples of free online productivity tools, which I would like to explore further. It included the following:

• http://www.zamsar.com/ which converts files from one format to another;
• http://www.picnik.com/ which does online photo editing
• http://doodle.ch/ which does polling and scheduling
• http://www.writeboard.com/ for sharing text documents
• http://jott.com/ for making spoken notes which are transcribed for you
• http://www.omnidrive.com/ for accessing, editing & sharing files online
• http://tadalist.com/ for online "to do" lists
• http://senduit.com/ and http://yousendit.com/ for sending large files
• http://www.slideshare.net/ for sharing Powerpoint presentations.

A search for "Library 2.0" in SlideShare revealed 5,000 results. These included a slide show called "The Library Future, It’s Up to You: What Tomorrow’s Librarians Need to Know Today" which gave a good overview of a number of resources in use today in libraries:
