I have just joined Shelfari and enjoyed experimenting with this website. The interface is very attractive with a bookcase appearance.
You can sort your books by author, title, or date added. You can limit the range of books displayed by selecting specific tags. Tags are listed at the bottom of the page, and you can click on a tag to see the items to which you had allocated that tag.
In Shelfari can join in conversations about books you are reading. You can also read the reviews others have added to various titles. This would be a useful function if a library used Shelfari, as books reviews and recommended reading could be attached to individual titles.
